HAND TUTOR

The MediTouch HandTutor physical and occupational therapy product enables functional fine motor fingers and wrist exercise and rehabilitation of the hand. The system consists of an ergonomic wearable glove and dedicated physical therapy rehabilitation software. This allows the therapist to work within the patient’s movement ability. The HandTutor can be combined with functional electrical stimulation (FES) to increase active movement ability by introducing assisted active practice. It improves fine motor, sensory and cognitive movement ability through controlled physical therapy of hand. The movement biofeedback glove ensures that the patient is kept motivated and challenged to do intensive practice through. The movement instructions and feedback given by the dedicated rehabilitation software prevents the development of undesired and compensatory joint movement and ensures better performance of functional tasks. The system is used by many leading physical and occupational therapy centres worldwide and has CE and FDA certification.

LEG TUTOR

The LegTutor consists of an ergonomic wearable leg brace. Its innovative technology allows lower extremity practice of the hip and knee employing both isolated joints and functional tasks. The LegTutor is used by the therapist to practice both weight bearing and non weight bearing exercises. The system permits a range of biomechanical evaluations including joint active and passive range of motion. This allows the therapist to measure a baseline of movement ability and document and report progress. The Leg Tutor uses powerful rehabilitation software that allows exercise customization to the patients movement ability . The movement biofeedback ensures that the patient is motivated and challenged to perform intensive and controlled practice. The rehabilitation software gives movement instructions and feedback that prevent the development of undesired and compensatory joint movement and ensures better performance of functional tasks. The system is used by many leading physical and occupational therapy centres worldwide and has CE and FDA certification.

3D TUTOR

The 3DTutor uses powerful rehabilitation software that allows the therapist to target and the patient to intensively practice specific joints including head, trunk, upper (shoulder, arm, elbow and wrist) and lower extremity (leg, hip, knee and ankle).

ARM TUTOR

The ArmTutor allows for isolated elbow and shoulder and combination elbow and shoulder functional exercise practice. The system provides detailed exercise instructions and precise feedback on the patients exercise performance and improvement. Controlled practice of multi joints within the normal movement pattern prevents the development of undesired and compensatory joint movement and ensures better performance of functional tasks. The ArmTutor can be combined with functional electrical stimulation (FES) to increase active movement ability by introducing assisted active practice. In addition the occupational and physical therapist can set up functional tasks together with the movement biofeedback from the ArmTutor so that the patient is encouraged to use a combination of arm and hand practice. The movement instructions and feedback given by the dedicated rehabilitation software prevents the development of undesired and compensatory joint movement and ensures better performance of functional tasks. The system is used by many leading physical and occupational therapy centres worldwide and has CE and FDA certification.

WHAT IS THE BALANCE TUTOR?

Rehabilitation Like Never Before!

Unexpected Perturbation System

The Balance Tutor’s new technology allows the therapist to create a postural perturbation such as a slip or a trip.

Its advanced technology utilizes the platform’s movement in a medial/lateral and forward/backward direction while the patient is standing, walking or running allowing customized postural control practice in the specific gait phase that the therapist chooses to focus on. This allows for a vast range of physical therapy indications.

It is the only rehabilitation system that employs an advanced 4D perturbation patented treadmill, multiple force and movement sensors and customized motivational video games.
